Acceptable Use Policy
This policy is part of the Terms and Conditions. It applies to all users of a Sendalo account, including employees and clients to whom a customer gives access. Last updated: 19.10.2026.
1. Content
Sendalo must not be used to store, publish, promote or send content that
- violates applicable law, in particular criminal, copyright, trademark, personality rights, data protection, competition or youth protection law,
- is insulting, discriminatory, glorifies violence, incites hatred or is terrorist in nature, or contains sexual depictions of minors,
- deceives people, for example through fake or purchased reviews, false identities or undisclosed advertising,
- breaks the rules of the respective platform.
Rewards such as the prize wheel in the client portal or giveaways must not be tied to leaving a review or to its content.
2. Ads
- Political advertising within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2024/900 and ads about elections, referendums and socially controversial issues are not permitted in Sendalo.
- For every ad, the beneficiary and the payer must be stated correctly.
- Ad budgets are billed exclusively through the respective advertiser’s ad account with the platform.
- Audiences must not be narrowed down by specially protected characteristics (e.g. health, religion, sexual orientation, political opinion).
3. Messages and advertising to individuals
- Promotional messages by email, WhatsApp or direct message may only be sent to people who have expressly consented beforehand (§ 7(2) no. 2 UWG, German Unfair Competition Act), unless a statutory exception applies.
- Comment automations may only send content that matches what was announced, and must not send advertising to people who did not comment themselves.
- On WhatsApp, Meta’s policies apply, in particular the 24-hour window and approved templates for later messages.
- The AI phone only answers incoming calls. Outgoing AI calls, in particular promotional calls, are not permitted via Sendalo.
4. AI features
- AI suggestions (e.g. post texts, alt texts, reply drafts, reports) must be checked by a human before they are published or sent.
- Automatic replies (auto-replies, chat assistant, AI phone) may only be used with carefully maintained knowledge and clear hand-over rules, and must be checked regularly. They must not be used to conclusively handle complaints, legal enquiries or emergencies; such cases must be handed over to a human.
- The AI must not be used to deceive people, for example by a chatbot pretending to be human (Art. 50(1) AI Act). The “KI-Assistent” (AI assistant) notice in the chat and the AI announcement on the phone must not be removed or obscured.
- Anyone who publishes AI-generated or manipulated images, videos or audio recordings that deceptively resemble real people, places or events (deepfakes) must label them as artificially generated (Art. 50(4) AI Act). The same applies to AI texts that inform the public on matters of public interest, unless they have undergone human editorial review and a person holds editorial responsibility.
- The usage policies of our AI provider Anthropic also apply.
5. Technical use
- No automated mass access, no circumventing limits or security measures.
- No spam, no artificial generation of interactions (fake likes, buying followers, bot networks).
- Login details must be kept secret. Each login is assigned to one person and must not be shared.
6. Reporting illegal content
We accept reports of illegal content or violations of this policy at hallo@sendalo.de (Art. 16 Digital Services Act). So that we can review the report, please include: an explanation of why the content is illegal, its exact location (e.g. the web address), your name and email address (except for reports of child sexual abuse material) and a statement that your information is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge. We will confirm receipt, review the report promptly, diligently and objectively, and inform you of our decision.
7. Violations
In the event of violations, we may block individual content or features and, after a prior warning, suspend the account temporarily or permanently. In the case of serious violations, immediate suspension is possible. We inform the person concerned of any suspension, stating the reasons (Art. 17 Digital Services Act); they can object to the decision at hallo@sendalo.de, and we will then review it again. We do not use automated means for such decisions.
